Windows process automation and optimization software. Think of it as an automated task manager. From ProBalance to persistent CPU affinities and priority classes, it decides how processes run. The Process Governor enforces rules in the background. The GUI is optional once rules are set.

Process Lasso does not report user or process data back to Bitsum. In-app network use is for update checks and license validation. Uninstall does not leave system modifications behind.

It adjusts process priorities and affinities by design. Some AV products raise false positives. Exclude the install folder if needed. See Trust.
No. Default action is a temporary priority class change to Below Normal during contention. It is meant to restore interactivity, not to throttle useful work.
Bitsum states there has never been a ban case tied to Process Lasso. It does not touch process memory. For EAC titles, use launcher inheritance or registry priorities. See Guides.
